For all movie lovers,I just want to point another Masterpiece:Harakiri,directed by Masaki Kobayashi,starring Tatsuya Nakadai in what is,my humble opinion,his greatest role. It is one of the films where the actor carries the whole film on his back.

I don't quite understand why the Japanese found this film to be so confusing at the time...Or others claiming that it's too western. The chinese produced their most expensive movie of all time "Hero" based off the concept of the movie, and I'll be damned if that a "western" movie.

I watched it when I was a graduate student...later on I searched it without any success. Thanks a lot, this is the movie that made me think things from various perspectives!!
