Simon & Garfunkel - The Sound of Silence (Live in Central Park, 1981)http://www.youtube.com/v/dTCNwgzM2rQ?versionhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTCNwgzM2rQ&feature=relatedSingers those day, they put their heart and brain into the lyrics, the way they perform.
they struggled for years to get recognized...then one day, sitting in a car in Brooklyn smoking a joint, they hear themselves on the radio (college station) singing this song...the early version which was acoustic...they were rushed into the studio, some percussion was added...everyone knew them and loved them...along comes The Graduate and they were soaring Wish I could see them live again
How do you think they are making all these bluerays of old movies? Of course the quality existed. Its hard to measure the quality of analog stuff in pixels. Most cinemas are just now replacing their projectors with digital ones. Usual 35mm filmroles still have a better quality than just mere loudsy 1080p.
The godfather goes back to 1972 and its graphical quality is amazing. It's still one of the best movies ever made. The kind of cameras they used back then where super expensive though, so it wasn't for everyone. At the beginning of digital photography quality actually dropped compared to really good analog cameras.
